"1915 Lanzhou Noodle is one of my go-to places for a proper, satisfying meal. They have a great variety of dishes and noodle styles, so you can always change things up depending on what you feel like. The staff are nice and supportive, even when it’s busy. It does get quite crowded, so coming early is a good idea if you don’t want to wait in line for too long. I really like the little extras they provide — free hot tea and goji tea, which is perfect with a hot bowl of noodles. They also offer free noodle refills, served directly in the broth in a separate bowl, which is a really nice touch and makes the meal feel extra generous. Their beef dumplings are also worth getting — juicy, flavourful, and a great side to go with the noodles. Good food, good value, and a warm, comforting experience. Definitely a place I keep coming back to."

"It would have to be one of the busiest restaurants on Gouger Street and for good reason - the food is fantastic! Admittedly, the ordering process is slow and cumbersome as you need to line up at a single til which is in the entrance of the restaurant. The food was unreal and the lamb dumplings took my taste buds to an alternate celestial plane - so good!"

Yesterday, I finally went there for the first time with a friend — and I was completely convinced. The food was outstanding, full of flavour and clearly made with care. The service was polite, attentive, and professional, and the food came out very quickly. The dining environment was comfortable and relaxing, which made the whole experience especially enjoyable. What impressed me most was their thoughtful consideration for customers of faith — they even have a small prayer room available, which is truly considerate and rare to see. Highly recommended. "Short review: shared one lunch dish and a side of dumplings between two and it was delicious, huge portion, and a very reasonable price. Spent $50 overall for a drink, serve or dumplings, and main meal to share. In depth review: My sister and I went here looking for a nice Asian place for lunch and we were so happy! We got the chicken and potatoes and a serve of pan fried dumplings between the two of us, the server warned that the chicken was a big dish but we were not expecting just how large it was. We came in hungry and are big eaters but couldn't manage to fit it all! It was also delicious, we were sad we could not finish it becuase of how amazing it tasted. Would reccoment very highly to anyone looking to share a plate with friends. Very cheap too! Would reccomend getting the amount we got to share with 3-4 people rather than two so that the meal can be finished. The overall vibe and atmosphere in the restaurant was relaxing even though it was quite packed when we went"
